GLOBAL MISSIONARIES

Our reach goes far beyond the city of Surrey because of our relationships and partnerships with these global mission partners around the world.

Join us on the last Sunday of every month as we highlight a missions work and take up an offering for SPA missions.

  • RESTRICTED ACCESS NATION

    GLOBAL WORKERS

We currently have three global missions partners and their families who are ministering in Restricted Access Nations.

A R.A.N. is a nation that is hostile to the Gospel message. For their security, we keep the details of our R.A.N. missions partners confidential.

  • ELMER AND SHERRY KOMANT

    BURUNDI

The Komants have given themselves to the planting of an English-speaking multicultural church in Burundi. Working with a team of national partners in the planting of the church, they have converted a theatre into a church and are reaching out into the university to bring God to the nation.

For her whole Christian life, Kim has had a heart for evangelism and

sensed a call to the nations. In 2011 she went to Trujillo, Honduras as an English teacher and was then asked to become the Director of the Truth and Life Training Centre that provides discipleship and training for girls (aged 12 - 20) who cannot afford education beyond Grade 6. Many of these young ladies have come to know the Lord  and have learned skills that enable them to earn a living.

In a country where the world is coming to us we must be diligent in investing in local at home missions.

The 100,000 plus BC college and university students are gathered for a season and scattered for a lifetime. Our future leaders, educators, and policy makers are being influenced at the most strategic point in their lives on the campus. 4 years later these students from almost every nation are poised to enter the marketplace. Will these students have at least 1 opportunity to hear the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ before they graduate? This is where John and BC campus ministries get involved, directing the mission of campus ministries all over British Columbia.

    POWER TO CHANGE: DRIME

    https://youtu.be/y5P6WJYHBpI

Today we see decreasing conversations about God & an increase of anxiety in how to engage others with ones questions about meaning, life, and faith.

DRIME is able to step into that gap, and foster an environment where people can feel comfortable talking about God, and engaging in the gospel story. They do this by performing choreographed street drama that engages people in meaningful conversations. DRIME bases have been launched all over the world, currently in 11 countries and are seeing dozens of people come to know Christ weekly.

Jamie helps lead the teams and leaders of DRIME by serving as the Communications Lead and Operations Manager.
